How to use brads:

Mark the spot you want to position the brad with a pencil. Using a pricking tool pierce a hole through the pencil mark.

Insert the brad in the hole and then turn over your paper or card and bend each prong in opposite directions until flat

When to use brads:

Brads can be used to extra dimension to your embellishments, ribbon and paper and card.

They are also ideal for securing vellum and parchment paper to card.
